Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?

Advance purchase tickets are recommended to ensure getting the date and time you prefer. Tickets can be purchased on our website with Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express

Is sales tax included in the ticket price?

The ticket price does not include sales tax or booking fee. These will be added to the online transaction.

Where does The Entertainer cruise?

The Entertainer will cruise on The Intracoastal Waterway from Hollywood. You will view magnificent homes and waterfront estates as well as luxury resorts as we cruise South and North on the waterway.

What will we see on the cruise?

You will see the beautiful skyline of the Intracoastal Waterway and many native birds and wildlife along the way. You will cruise past the canals in Hollywood, Golden Beach and Sunny Isles where magnificent waterfront estates grace the coastline. Our sunsets are some of the most beautiful in South Florida. You’ll have many opportunities to take photos before returning to Diplomat Landing Marina.

How long is the cruise?

Our cruises are 2 generally hours in duration.

Can children come on the cruise?

Children over 2 years of age are welcome aboard our cruises. Children 2-12 years of age have a reduced-price ticket. Guests above 12 years of age require an adult ticket.

Will the boat sail rain or shine?

Absolutely. The Entertainer has a fully enclosed, climate controlled main deck for your comfort. We sail rain or shine. In the case of severe weather conditions or at the direction of the U.S. Coast Guard or National Weather Service, the yacht may remain dockside until weather conditions improve. Weather patterns change and storms usually pass quickly leaving clear skies. In the rare event that we need to cancel the trip, you will be able to reschedule to another time (subject to availability).

How many people can be on the boat at one time?

The Entertainer is 61 feet long and 18 feet wide and can carry up to 42 passengers at one time. The main deck can seat up to 26 guests, the upper deck can seat up to 20 guests. The Forward and Aft Decks have additional seating as well.

Are food and beverages served onboard?

Many of our Cruises offer food service. Click on the date of your cruise to see what is included on the menu. We also have a full-service bar on board that offers a selection of juices, sodas, water, liquor, beer, wine and a variety of lighter snacks for sale.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

No, unfortunately personal food and beverages are not permitted aboard The Entertainer for insurance reasons.

Can I bring my own alcohol on the yacht?

No, you are not permitted to bring personal alcoholic beverages on board due to Florida State Law. Our full-service bar is available for the purchase of alcoholic beverages as well as a variety of juices, sodas and water.

What do the bar onboard serve?

The Entertainer has a full-service bar on the main deck offering a variety of beers, wines and liquor. We also offer juices, sodas, water and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Do I need to be 21 to drink alcohol?

Yes, you must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcoholic beverages onboard. Please remember to bring a government issued ID with you if you would like to purchase alcohol.

What are my payment options on the cruise?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express, along with cash.

Will there be entertainment onboard the yacht?

The cruise includes a variety of music. The Captain and Crew will also point out places of interest during the cruise. We also offer specialty cruises that are available throughout the year. Check the schedule for upcoming cruises.

Will the cruise be narrated?

The Captain and Crew will provide information and history about the area and points of interest along the way. Music will also be played for your enjoyment during the cruise.

Is there air-conditioning / heating on-board?

Yes, our main deck is climate-controlled for your comfort.

Is it customary to tip the crew?

We strive to offer our guests the best experience possible onboard The Entertainer. Tips are not required but they are always appreciated.

Are there assigned seats on the yacht?

We do not assign seating for our cruises. If you have specific seating requests, please let us know in a “Message” upon purchasing your tickets and we will do our best to try to accommodate you (we can’t guarantee it but we will try!)

Are there life jackets onboard?

Yes, The Entertainer has more than enough life jackets available for all passengers at any time. During the Captain’s safety announcement before leaving the dock he will explain where they are located. However, you are not required to wear life jackets during the cruise.

Is the yacht wheelchair accessible?

No, the yacht is not wheelchair accessible.

Is smoking allowed?

Our yacht is a smoke-free vessel. No smoking is permitted, including e-cigarettes or similar devices.

Are restrooms available?

Yes, The Entertainer has a clean, unisex bathroom onboard It is located on our lower deck and accessible by a stairway.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend you arrive 30 to 45 minutes prior to the posted cruise time. This will allow time for parking and check-in. It is important that our cruises depart on time. Boarding begins 30 minutes prior to the cruise.

What time does boarding begin?

Boarding starts 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

What happens if I arrive late?

All cruises depart promptly at the schedule departure time. It is important that guests arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the schedule departure time to avoid missing the boat. Refunds will not be provided if the yacht has departed the dock for the scheduled cruise.

Will I get seasick?

The Entertainer is a stable boat and The Intracoastal Waterway is usually very calm. While the waters sometime can be choppy when passing another vessel, very little motion is felt aboard the yacht. Seasickness is very rare. If you are particularly prone to motion sickness, please consider consulting your physician prior to going on the cruise.

What should I wear?

Attire on board The Entertainer is casual. Shoes or sandals are required. Ladies, please refrain from wearing high heels on the yacht. There are steps to the upper and lower decks of the yacht so please dress comfortably.

What about parking?

There is a multi-level parking garage at Diplomat Landing Marina. There is an hourly fee to park in this garage. There is a drop off location if you are using Taxi, Uber or Lyft.

Is there public transportation to the marina?

Yes, there is a Hollywood Trolley stop at the Marina.

What else is nearby the marina?

There are multiple restaurants and shops nearby at the Hollywood Broadwalk, as well as at the numerous Resorts on Hollywood Beach.

Can I bring a pet?

No – unfortunately pets are not allowed.

Is the cruise suitable for pregnant women?

The cruises onboard The Entertainer should not be a problem for pregnant women as the waters on the Intracoastal Waterway are very calm and the yacht is very stable. If you are concerned, you may want to discuss with your physician before going on the cruise.

Are gift certificates available?

Yes, Gift Certificates are available for any of our cruises on The Entertainer. These can be purchased on our website.

Are private charters available?

Yes, private charters are available for special events such as weddings, anniversaries, birthday celebration or corporate entertaining. Please contact us for pricing and availability. We would be happy to discuss options with you for your cruise.
