The Intracoastal Waterway flows through the downtown area. Watch the bridges open for the mega-yachts as they navigate the winding river. One fun way to get around is on a water-taxi. Stop at fun restaurants such as Shooters for a dockside lunch.

It is estimated that some 8 million dollars in boats are on display from Super Megayachts to the tenders that they carry and everything in between. It is indeed an experience. You can board many of the yachts and see what a floating home is really like. From marble bathrooms to hot tubs on the bow of the yacht to a helicopter for a quick trip to shore. It is well worth the trip to come and see THIS Boat Show!

Hollywood, Florida is just a few minutes away from the Ft. Lauderdale airport. The Margaritaville Resort is the newest addition to the skyline. It sits on a beautiful part of the beach and welcomes you with the sights and sounds of Jimmy Buffet. It’s a beautiful place to see on your trip. There are also many restaurants along the Intracoastal where you can stop by boat for lunch or dinner. It’s a great way to enjoy the sunshine and sea air.
