Jupiter
Jupiter is on our itinerary as we travel North on the Intracostal Waterway from Palm Beach. The route takes us under the bridges of North Palm Beach and Palm Beach Gardens. Beautiful homes line the waterway toward Jupiter itself. There are beautiful beaches along the Atlantic that offer luxury amenities and an easygoing lifestyle. You can take in a turtle hatchling walk, hike or bike the many parks and beach trails, paddle a kayak on the Loxahatchee River or climb the Jupiter Lighthouse for the view.
The Lighthouse is near the Jupiter Inlet which offers direct access to the Atlantic Ocean for fishing and diving. Roger Dean Stadium is Spring Training home to both the Florida Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. Jupiter’s beaches have offered retreats for surfers and beachgoers for decades. Dubois Park has more than 1,200 feet of tropical palm-lined beach. Carlin Park offers an exercise trail and picnic areas. Coastal Living Magazine named Jupiter as one of the Top 10 Happiest Seaside Towns in the USA.
Jupiter is also home to the Honda Classic Golf Tournament. This attracts more than 200,000 visitors annually. Jupiter is home to many professional golfers including Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Dustin Johnson, Keegan Bradley, Camilio Villegas and Steve Marino. The warm, Florida sunshine has also attracted many other sports figures who call Jupiter home including Greg Norman, Michael Jordan, Gary Player, and Nick Price. There is always a reason to enjoy the sunshine and blue skies in Jupiter. Over the years, many TV and Entertainment personalities have come to Jupiter including Burt Reynolds, Celine Dion, Alan Jackson. Driving past the Jupiter Lighthouse takes you along the coast road to Jupiter Island and Hobe Sound. This road is line with stunning estates, some of which include property that spans from the Intracoastal to the Ocean. Some of the wealthiest people in the United States live in Jupiter Island. WORTH magazine ranked it #1 in the country for having the highest median home sales and the highest per capita income of any inhabited place in the country.
There are numerous restaurants located along the waterway including Season’s 52, Bricktop, Tommy Bahama, The Woods, U-Tiki and The Jetty, to name a few. All of these are accessible from the waterway and can be a docking point for our charter so you can enjoy lunch or dinner before continuing on the trip. The newest addition to the restaurant scene in Jupiter is 1000 North located on the waterway near the Jupiter Lighthouse. Michael Jordon and his partners have recently opened this restaurant that includes indoor and outdoor seating as well as a members-only area on the top floor. It’s always fun to explore this area. Whatever your interest, Jupiter has something for you.
